ELLAND ROAD

There’s something about Elland Road that feels like it belongs on a well-worn vinyl record — warm guitars, rich harmonies, honest songwriting and songs that take their time to tell a story.Drawing on the golden years of Soft Rock, Folk Country and melodic 1970s rock, Elland Road have created a sound that is familiar without being stuck in the past. Their music carries the easy warmth of acoustic guitars, the drive of electric rhythm, strong vocal harmonies and melodies that stay with you long after the record has stopped spinning. These are songs about real life — love found and lost, good times, hard times, friendships, memories and the simple moments that somehow mean the most. There’s a touch of country in the storytelling, a little rock in the rhythm and plenty of heart running through every song.

Elland Road sound like a band that could have walked straight out of the seventies, guitars over their shoulders and a box of vinyl under their arms. No fuss, no pretence — just good songs, played with feeling.

For anyone who remembers when a great melody mattered, when harmonies filled the room and an album was something you listened to from beginning to end, Elland Road are bringing that feeling back.
